A fun way to prepare for ballet & to learn short dances. Age 5.
Grade 1 Classical Ballet Class
Wednesdays, 5:05 - 6:05 PM
Learning the basics of ballet technique & mime. Ages 6+.
Grade 2 Classical Ballet Class
Wednesdays, 6:10 - 7:10 PM
A ballet class suitable for 8+ years-olds or those with previous ballet training. Fees
Class fees: 1/2 hour class: £5, 1 hour class: £6 Class fees payable by the term (incl. 1 free class) or by half-term in advance.
Trial class: £5 Sibling discount from Autumn 2010: 10% off the full price.
Late payment incurs a 10% charge added to your bill.
Uniform
Pre-Primary & Primary
Girls:
Pink short sleeved leotard with pink circular skirt, pink ballet socks and pink ballet shoes. Optional pink crossover cardigan.
Boys:
White short sleeved leotard and black shorts or leggings. White or black socks and matching colour ballet shoes.
Grade 1 & 2
Girls:
Black short sleeved leotard and pink ballet tights. Pink full sole leather shoes with elastics or pink full sole satin shoes with elastics or ribbons.
Boys:
White short sleeved leotard and black shorts or leggings. White or black socks and matching colour ballet shoes with elastics.
Ballet Class Etiquette
Please arrive in time for class, allowing plenty of time to change & visit the restroom.
Parents/carers are responsible for their child outside class times. Please keep your voice down in the changing area & wait for the class outside the dancing area. Please respect our students and do not observe the classes. No photography allowed.
Children are expected to wear the uniform following their first half term attendance. For health and safety, no jewellery is to be worn in class and hair should be tied back. No outdoor shoes allowed on the dance floor.<o:p>
Terms & Conditions
Fees are due during the first week of the term. Late payment will incur the charge of 10% of the total invoice to be added to your bill. The Children's classes are running as a course, please contact me before joining. No cancellations or refunds after purchase.
A pianist might be employed to accompany the classes, notice will be given beforehand.
All Anikó's Classical Ballet classes for Children follow the Imperial Classical Ballet syllabus from the ISTD. Exams are optional, please discuss this with me first. We will hold open classes/performances at the end of the Autumn & Summer Term.
